This guy made a bunch of maps where you run around in a giant bedroom or mall and stuff like that and made it into a mod with his own comic book characters. Really popular for a while, but it wasn't made by the original TF devs and took forever to update so TFC took its lunch money when it came out.
QF3 - the short lived team fortress mod.I don't know where to get this for Q3 anymore, but it's here and here if you have QL. Midair - An old QW mod where rockets only do damage on direct hit, simple but really fun.
